The true story
The truth is, we’re made of New Zealand and proudly owned by New Zealanders.

From the beginning
Our founder Jim first spotted hills blanketed with Mānuka flowers while exploring New Zealand’s breathtaking back country. It gave him an idea – to harvest, bottle and sell deliciously good Mānuka honey, looking after everybody (and every bee).
This meant finding pristine Mānuka bush and building solid partnerships with the people who own the land – so wherever we place our hives, landowners get a fair deal too.
Just as important is looking after the honeybees. So our hive of industry includes intrepid beekeepers and honey artisans to make sure every pot is just what you'd expect from premium Mānuka honey.
These days, we’re sharing it with honey lovers throughout the world, so you get authentic New Zealand Mānuka honey at a fair price.
Where it all began
Since years ago, we’ve been working on bringing our high rated New Zealand Mānuka honey to Honey Lovers all over the world.

Our philosophy
Dedicated to looking after everybody (and every bee). We don’t just make honey, we make a set of promises to you, dear honey lover. Because we know you care as much as we do.
The royal treatment
The stars of our operation are honeybees. So they get the dedication and attention of a high beekeeper to hive ratio. We also move hives at night for the least possible disruption, and no bee left behind.

Friends, with benefits
To harvest Mānuka honey from the best spots, we make sure the people who own them get a fair deal. Our partnerships are built on honesty, trust and Trueview™ – our own technology that lets landowners keep an eye on the lovely honey being made on their land.

Authentic origins
We deeply respect the role Mānuka has played in indigenous Māori healing traditions, combining this knowledge with modern scientific research. We’re proud to be kaitiaki (guardians) of the land, the bush and our bees.

Out of harms way
We go to great lengths to keep contaminants out of our honey. Hives are carefully placed in New Zealand’s remote, green backcountry – where the air’s clean and the Mãnuka’s blooming. Good news, for you and the bees.

Trees for bees (and us)
We’re fighting climate change, soil erosion and bee decline the best way we know how, by helping landowners regenerate unproductive farmland with New Zealand’s unique native Mānuka bush. And bringing birdsong back.

Far from anywhere
You can’t tame the honeybee (not that we’d try). Instead, we make sure her flight path takes her through dense stands of Mānuka bush, so she can access the highest concentrations of Mānuka nectar to make her honey.

From bee to you
The stars of our operation are honeybees. So they get the dedication and attention of a high beekeeper to hive ratio. We also move hives at night for the least possible disruption, and no bee left behind.

Hive of activity
We started working with landowners years before our stripy little friends made a single drop of honey. As part of our promise to take care of everybody and every bee, our partnerships are built on trust and mutual benefit. Nowadays, these partnerships include our valued wholesale and distribution partners, the independent labs that test our honey, and the likeminded brands and ambassadors we work with to spread the word.
